(Erabaru.or.id) — 21 Juli lalu, dipamerkan benda kemiliteran kuno Tiongkok yang sangat langka, dari benda-benda yang tak ternilai tersebut dipamerkan, ada pedang milik Gou Jian (baca: kou cien), Raja Yue (sekitar 500 tahun SM), buku kuno ilmu kemiliteran Sun Zi (baca: suen ce, di Indonesia terkenal dengan Sun Tzu) berasal dari makam dinasti Han di gunung Yin Que (baca: yinjue) dan lain sebagainya.
Diantaranya juga terdapat pedang raja Yue, Gou Jian dan cucu Gou Jian. Pedang yang pernah dipergunakan oleh buyutnya serta pedang dari putera mahkota Wu. Empat pedang tersohor ini untuk kali pertama dipamerkan secara bersamaan di depan umum, sebuah kejadian langka di dalam sejarah.
Pekerja dengan sangat hati-hati menempatkan pedang Gou Jian dari Raja Yue yang didatangkan dari propinsi Hubei ke Beijing, ke dalam kotak pajangan khusus. Meski telah melewati usia yang begitu panjang masih saja tajam tak tertandingi.
Pedang Gou Jian tajamnya dapat membuat “rambut lewat, terputus” milik sang raja Yue membuat orang terkagum-kagum.
Menurut cerita pekerja, pedang Gou Jian sesudah digali keluar dan di dalam sebuah eksperimen, mata pedang (blade) dalam satu kali tebas dengan mudah memotong 26 lembar tumpuk kertas.
“Sungguh-sungguh telah dicoba oleh seorang pekerja yang mengambil sehelai rambutnya dan dilepas secara alami ke atas mata pedang, rambut tersebut langsung terpotong jadi 2.”
Pedang Gou Jian milik Raja Yue memiliki panjang 55.6 cm dan lebar 4,6 cm. Pada 1965 ditemukan di gunung Jiang Ling propinsi Hubei. Pada badan pedang terdapat tekstur berbentuk rhombis, berpola blue inlay berglasur dan terdapat permata turquoise (biru hijau).
Ketika digali tertancap di dalam sarung bercat transparan dan di bagian lehernya terlilit tali sutera. Di dekat pegangannya tertera “Pedang pribadi Gou Jian – Raja Yue”. Pedang tersebut berasal dari makam (dinasti) Chu, diletakkan di sebelah kiri kerangka jenazah, sebagai pedang pribadi.
Pedang Gou Jian dewasa ini adalah pusaka milik museum propinsi Hubei. Kepala museum propinsi Hubei, Wang Hongxing berkata, “Hingga sekarang, pedang ini masih saja diselimuti banyak misteri, misalnya tentang asal usulnya, teknik pembuatannya dan lain sebagainya.”
Selain kehadiran keempat pedang ternama tersebut, ada lagi yang boleh dibilang adalah “Pistol otomatis” zaman kuno, yakni busur mekanik otomatis dari zaman Zhan Guo (403 – 221 SM).
Wang Hongxing menyatakan, petugas arkeologi membuat turunannya sesuai dengan busur aslinya dan bisa dibidikkan sejauh 20 hingga 30 langkah, sekali isi bisa dipasang dan ditembakkan 2 batang anak panah mekanik, ini di zaman kuno nyaris bagaikan “pistol otomatis”.
Selain itu, di dalam pameran kali ini juga kali pertama ditunjukkan 20 potong serpihan buku (kala itu buku belum dibuat dari kertas, melainkan dari lempengan bambu) ilmu kemiliteran Sun Zi dari makam Han di gunung Yin Que.
Sisa serpihan ilmu kemiliteran hasil karya Sun Zi yang masih eksis dan tertua ini sangat berharga, setiap serpihan masing-masing diletakkan di dalam sebuah tabung kaca transparan, sekitarnya diisi penuh dengan cairan pelindung transparan, para penonton melalui kaca masih bisa membaca aksara berwarna hitam di atas serpihan tersebut. Kolonel Harland D. Sanders lahir pada tahun 1890 di sebuah ladang yang berdekatan dengan Hendryville, Indiana. Ayahnya meninggal ketika ia berusia enam tahun. Itu menyebabkan ibunya harus bekerja sebagai tukang jahit baju sedangkan ia juga terpaksa menjaga adik - adiknya yang masih kecil. Pada saat itulah ibunya mengajarkan seni masakan daerah.

Jerusalem,(ANTARA News) - Satu bayi perempuan yang sudah dinyatakan meninggal oleh para dokter, "bangkit dari kematian" setelah berjam-jam disimpan di lemari pendingin kamar mayat.
Sebagaimana dilaporkan Reuters, kejadian tersebut berlangsung pada awal pekan ini di Israel. Bayi perempuan itu saat lahir beratnya hanya 600 gram dan sudah disimpan lima jam di lemari pendingin. Saat orang tua sang bayi membawa dia untuk dimakamkan, tiba-tiba mereka merasa si "jenazah" bergerak-gerak.
"Kami lalu membuka kainnya dan menyaksikan dia bergerak-gerak. Awalnya kami tidak percaya, tapi dia kemudian memegangi tangan ibu saya lalu membuka mulut," kata ibu bayi itu, Faiza Magdoub (26).
Beberapa jam sebelumnya, para dokter di rumah sakit Western Galilee, Israel Utara, menyatakan bayi yang baru 23 pekan di kandungan itu meninggal setelah terpaksa dikeluarkan. Para dokter memutuskan untuk mengeluarkan bayi itu karena ibunya mengalami pendarahan.

Kota ini mendapat sumber daya dari matahari, angin dan arus laut, yang akan memproduksi lebih banyak energi daripada energi yang dikonsumsinya, dan akan menjadi kota yang ber-emisi nol karena semua karbon dan lim bah akan di daur ulang.

JERUSALEM - Baru-baru ini Arkeolog asal Israel berhasil menemukan sebuah teks dalam bahasa Ibrani, yang diduga merupakan surat yang ditujukan kepada Raja Daud, tulisan itu sendiri diperkirakan dibuat pada 3.000 tahun yang lalu.
Penemuan besar ini sendiri merupakan hasil kerja keras dari Professor Yosef Granfinkel dari Hebraw University, Jerusalem. Professor Granfinkel mengatakan bahwa teks yang dia temukan ditulis di biji tembikar. Dia juga mengklaim surat yang dibuat 3.000 tahun lalu tersebut merupakan wasiat yang ditujukan kepada Raja David (Daud).
Teks tulisan tersebut ditemukan oleh para arkeolog dilahan seluas 2,3 hektar yang bernama Elah Fortress, yang berada di Kota Khirbet Qeiyafam, 20 mil sebelah barat daya dari Jerusalem. Para arkeolog mengaku bahwa mereka telah memulai proyek ini sejak Bulan Juni lalu.
Para arkeolog sendiri hingga saat ini masih bekerja untuk memecahkan isi tulisan yang ada di tembikar tersebut, walaupun mereka sudah meyakini ini merupakan surat wasiat untuk Raja Daud. Demikian yang dilaporkan Telegraph, Jumat (30/10/2008).
Bagi Bangsa Yahudi, Raja David merupakan tokoh yang istimewa, ia merupakan raja kedua bagi bangsa tersebut. Keberhasilannya dalam mengalahkan Goliath, yang digambarkan sebagai seorang raksasa, menjadi cerita yang melegenda ke seluruh dunia.
Khierbet Qeiyafam sendiri merupakan medan pertempuran antara David dan Goliath. Jadi kuat dugaan, tembikar yang berisi tulisan untuk Raja Daud tersebut memang asli berasal dari abad 10 sebelum masehi.
"Kronologi dan geografi Khirbet Qeiyafa membuat unik di antara mitologi, sejarah, penulisan sejarah dan ilmu yang berhubungan dengan Raja Daud," ujar Professor Garfinkel.

Menurut dia, binatang kecil ini boleh jadi memasuki tubuh ayam selama proses pembuatan telur namun para ahli di Australia belum mengkonfirmasi teorinya ini.
Kulit telur berisi tokek Asia itu telah diserahkan Dr.Beaumont ke pejabat kesehatan NT untuk diteliti.
Sejauh ini, otoritas terkait negara itu telah pun melakukan penelusuran asal usul telur di ladang-ladang peternakan di utara New South Wales maupun selatan Queensland.
Hanya saja, kehadiran tokek Asia tetap misteri karena tidak ditemukan di kawasan peternakan di dua negara bagian itu.
Sementara itu, Perusahaan Telur Australia (AEC) mengaku terkejut dengan kejadian di Darwin ini karena sebelumnya belum pernah terdengar kasus yang sama di Australia.
David Witcombe dari unit riset dan pengembangan AEC berspekulasi bahwa tokek kecil itu mungkin masuk ke telur yang sedang berkembang melalui kloaka induk ayam.
Bahasa Sanskerta adalah salah satu bahasa Indo-Eropa paling tua yang masih dikenal dan sejarahnya termasuk yang terpanjang. Bahasa Sanskerta merupakan sebuah bahasa klasik India, sebuah bahasa liturgis dalam agama Hindu, Buddhisme, dan Jainisme dan salah satu dari 23 bahasa resmi India. Bahasa ini juga memiliki status yang sama di Nepal.
Posisinya dalam kebudayaan Asia Selatan dan Asia Tenggara mirip dengan posisi bahasa Latin dan Yunani di Eropa. Bahasa Sanskerta berkembang menjadi banyak bahasa-bahasa modern di anakbenua India. Bahasa ini muncul dalam bentuk pra-klasik sebagai bahasa Weda. Yang terkandung dalam kitab Rgweda merupakan fase yang tertua dan paling arkhais. Teks ini ditarikhkan berasal dari kurang lebih 1700 SM dan bahasa Sanskerta Weda adalah bahasa Indo-Arya yang paling tua ditemui dan salah satu anggota rumpun bahasa Indo-Eropa yang tertua.
Khazanah sastra Sanskerta mencakup puisi yang memiliki sebuah tradisi yang kaya, drama dan juga teks-teks ilmiah, teknis, falsafi, dan agamis. Saat ini bahasa Sansekerta masih tetap dipakai secara luas sebagai sebuah bahasa seremonial pada upacara-upacara Hindu dalam bentuk stotra dan mantra. Bahasa Sanskerta yang diucapkan masih dipakai pada beberapa lembaga tradisional di India dan bahkan ada beberapa usaha untuk menghidupkan kembali bahasa Sanskerta.

Sejarah
Kata sifat saṃskṛta- berarti "berbudaya". Bahasa yang dirujuk sebagai saṃskṛtā vāk "bahasa yang berbudaya" secara definisi sudah selalu merupakan bahasa yang "tinggi", dipakai untuk keperluan agama dan keperluan ilmiah serta bertentangan dengan bahasa yang dipakai oleh rakyat jelata. Bahasa ini juga disebut deva-bhāṣā yang artinya adalah "bahasa Dewata".
Tatabahasa bahasa Sanskerta tertua yang masih lestari ialah karangan Pāṇini dan berjudulkan Aṣ�*ādhyāyī ("Tatabahasa Delapan Bab") yang kurang lebih ditarikh berasal dari abad ke-5 SM. Tatabahasa ini terutama merupakan tatabahasa normatif atau preskriptif yang terutama mengatur cara pemakaian yang baku dan bukan deskriptif, meski tatabahasa ini juga memuat bagian-bagian deskriptif terutama mengenai bentuk-bentuk Weda yang sudah tidak dipakai lagi pada zaman Panini.
Bahasa Sanskerta termasuk cabang Indo-Arya dari rumpun bahasa Indo-Eropa. Bersama dengan bahasa Iran, bahasa Sanskerta termasuk rumpun bahasa Indo-Iran dan dengan ini bagian dari kelompok Satem bahasa-bahasa Indo-Eropa, yang juga mencakup cabang Balto-Slavik.
Ketika istilah bahasa Sanskerta muncul di India, bahasa ini tidaklah dipandang sebagai sebuah bahasa yang berbeda dari bahasa-bahasa lainnya, namun terutama sebagai bentuk halus atau berbudaya dalam berbicara. Pengetahuan akan bahasa Sanskerta merupakan sebuah penanda kelas social dan bahasa ini terutama diajarkan kepada anggota kasta-kasta tinggi, melalui analisis saksama para tatabahasawan Sanskerta seperti Pāṇini. Bahasa Sanskerta sebagai bahasa terpelajar di India berada di samping bahasa-bahasa Prakreta yang merupakan bahasa rakyat dan akhirnya berkembang menjadi bahasa-bahasa Indo-Arya modern (bahasa Hindi, bahasa Assam, bahasa Urdu, Bengali dan seterusnya). Kebanyakan bahasa Dravida dari India, meski merupakan bagian rumpun bahasa yang berbeda, mereka sangat dipengaruhi bahasa Sanskerta, terutama dalam bentuk kata-kata pinjaman.
Naskah Devimahatmya pada daun lontar menggunakan aksara Bhujimol awal, berasal dari Bihar atau Nepal, abad ke-11.
Bahasa Kannada, Telugu dan Malayalam memiliki jumlah kata pungut yang terbesar sementara bahasa Tamil memiliki yang terendah. Pengaruh bahasa Sansekerta pada bahasa-bahasa ini dikenali dengan wacana Tat Sama ("sama") dan Tat Bhava ("berakar"). Sementara itu bahasa Sansekerta sendiri juga mendapatkan pengaruh substratum bahasa Dravida sejak masa sangat awal.
